...arranges the occasional event for
members only...
This weekend
(16 - 18 June 2006) we rattled off down to
High Laning Farm, in Dent in the Yorkshire Dales.
The area is marvellously picturesque, and we were even entertained
by the hang-gliders jumping off Rise Hill above the campsite...
High Laning (pronounced "Lanning") is a little
pricey (£8 per head, per night) but they have very
good facilities and it's great for bikers as it's just a few miles away from
Devil's Bridge . (Well known biker haunt near Kirby Lonsdale) .
There are two local hostelries - The George &
Dragon (good food, but quite formal surroundings) and the Sun Inn (Real
Ale, very small, old pub with
massive
atmosphere...)
We spent all of Saturday evening at the Sun Inn,
enjoying a very good Dinner and the marvellous ales of the
Dent Brewery...

You should've seen the
state of Evie after 90
pints of Kamikazee...!
