This weekend
(25 March 2007) we rattled on up to
Oban...
Fourteen of us started from
The "Little Thief " in Dumbarton at 10am, although there was a
wee delay when Joe turned up with his bike leaking oil out of every
orifice..!! He'd decided to "top up" his oil until it was pissing
out of his handlebars..!!
The
“ever resourceful” Chris managed to find an empty oil canister and
cut it to size using naught but sun rays and mirrors to create a
concentrated laser beam; well, that’s what it looked like to me
while I was sitting having a fag and watching all the fun..!! I hope
someone managed to get a photo of the police pulling Joe up, at the
side of the road?
So... We all
set off and met up at
Inveraray for a nice wee cuppa tea, then we headed up to Oban to
MacTavish’s kitchen for lunch. The sun was splitting the trees in
Oban, so we sat at the front by the water for a while. We then
headed back to Inveraray for snacks and more tea. Then we all headed
home after a fabulous, sunny day out. Thanks to Craig for organising
it ...
