Introduction To Our Site :

The Mercury Motorcycle Club...

...have been actively supporting Glasgow's motorcycle community for over sixty years now...

We hold our own Club Nights...

Run various events of our own and attend other Club's Events(when we're invited..!!)

Hold our own Rallies...

And much, much more...

We meet every Tuesday night from 7:30 p.m
at
Shakespeare St. Youth Centre, Maryhill, Glasgow...

See You There..!!

The Mercury Motorcycle Club...
...is based in Central Glasgow.  The Club boasts a history spanning 60 years, and since it was established (1946) has had many & varied focuses .  Originally started as a trials and off-road club, the Club's interests now centre largely about road-riding and Rallies.  So much so, that we hold two Rallies ourselves every year..!

Whatever the changes in the Club's specific interests, the common features and mainstays of what makes Mercury MCC such a good club have always been a love of bikes and the whole biking scene... So, If you've an interest in bikes or biking of any kind, then read on...

We meet nearly every Tuesday evening at Shakespeare St, (off Maryhill Road) Glasgow and we welcome anyone with an interest in motorcycles...  The membership spans all ages and there's always someone willing to blather on about bikes, so if you've a mind, come on down... We'll be happy to meet you..

If you're too far away to come visit and would still like to be part of Scotland's oldest Motorcycle Club, (perhaps by making a contribution to this Site?) Please use our Contacts page to get in touch...

If you would like to join, then come on down to Shakespeare Street and meet us in person... We won't bite (unless you ask nicely) and you might even like it..!

For more about how Mercury MCC is organised, what we do and what we support; read the Club's Constitution here:

We hope to reach as many people as possible through this site.  Please pass on our URL (www.mercurymcc.org) to anyone you think may be interested.  Thanks..!

Mercury Motor Cycle Club ;

 Club Nights :

...are held almost every Tuesday, throughout the year, at the Club's usual haunt; Shakespeare Street Youth Centre, Shakespeare Street, Maryhill, Glasgow...ShakespeareStreet

Starting from 7:30 p.m., the Club Night is a forum where MMCC members and guests can meet and blather about bikes to their heart's content.

Occasionally, Club Nights are dedicated to specific events, social or otherwise.  Past Club Nights have been set aside for events such as the AGM, pub-quizzes and technical discussions from folk such as the Scottoiler® team who gave us a very good demonstration, prior to offering us massive discounts for club members interested in buying.. (That's my kind of event..!)

We aim to make Club Nights both interesting and informative.  A MMCC Committee Member is always present and info concerning Rally Invites, Club Events, BMF and MAG activities and local motorcycling events such as Easter Egg and Toy runs is usually made available.

Anyone with an interest in motorcycling can attend and we actively encourage other local clubs or visiting bikers to come along and meet us.  You don't have to join to attend Club Nights (although you will be pestered if you start to look too familiar!)

If you need to be certain of what's happening on a specific night, get in touch through our Contacts Page.

See you soon..!
